Teaching Physics as a Non-Specialist

Janina has always loved Biology and took a degree in Zoology at the university of Sheffield. Inspired by one of her lecturers, she worked in conservation at the World Conservation Monitoring Centre until she decided she needed to learn to teach so she could work in environmental education. Janina didn’t bank on her satisfaction coming from watching the development of teenagers! 20 years later she is now a head of Science at Sackville school, a large comprehensive school in West Sussex.
