Videos to support Physics Teaching & Learning

During lockdown, and the following restrictions on practical work to keep safe, the need for physics teaching videos has become even greater than before.

With this in mind I have started to record some videos to help students and teachers. Whilst I am an experienced teacher, this is my first time teaching AQA GCSE Physics, so I hope you will join me as I understand the nuances of this specification.

Required Practicals

As I go through the spec I am recording videos about how to undertake each required practical, and collecting results that all students could use for data analysis if they are unable to undertake the practical. Here is an example, for the SHC practical:

I will collect them on this playlist as I do them: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLvPaLx3vVGN7ee-Bw4OOoI3aPYhRofKXz

Mathematical Methods for Physical Sciences

I am also recording this series of videos exploring the maths around our subject deeper. I hope you will join me as this series develops.

I am always on Twitter, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions or suggestions.
